    Lesser platinum clutch

    Hi all,

Here is my second P.regius clutch this year, lesser platinum male x normal female. There is only one lesser ;( and its a boy, siblings are 2,3. Please look closer to the siblings and also the lesser, they all have a lot of speckling on the sides. They are similar to the "granite" that I saw on RDR website, is it possible that such a gene showed up in my cross?

Wow! They really do have granite peppering in their sides, but their neck patterns don't follow the normal granite markers in item 2 in this list:

Mom may have something special going on - I'd hang on to some of the girls and raise them up and breed them to their brother to see what's going on - even breed the boy back to mom!

    Congrats!

Nice looking clutch.. I would say you definitly have some sort of genetics behind it. I dont know alot about granites, but for your baby lesser to have the same sort of patterns as every single one of the babies plus the mother that has to make you think it was passed on..
    Congrats!
Personally I would breed him back to the mother just for fun.
