Axanthics do tend to brown out as they grow older...some to the point that it's hard to tell if an adult axanthic is a normal or not. As I understand it, the BEST line for holding their silvery color and high contrast is VPI's line, but even with those, the adults never looks as purely black & silver as the babies do. The breeder said it is a VPI axanthic, I forgot to post that little detail I guess. Again I dont know much about axanthics
