yeah i'd heard that Indies took a while to heal. before, jobs always prevented me from getting it done, now i'm unemployed but broke.

No, it just concaves into my conch and hooks back out to the cartilage on the side of my ear.. It's a little busy, but it all works out..

Sounds like my kind of luck.... I have always done things to my ears though, despite boss preferences, but my hair is usually long enough to cover so it's not that much of a biggie..

I have 2g. I am constantly debating on whether or not to go up to 0, because of my job....I saw these plugs once at Hot Topic once that looked like teeny little tuna fish cans. They were really kewl!

    Re: Stretched ears

employers are starting to lighten up about piercings. I remember when I was 16 trying to find a job I had to cut my hair and take all of my piercings out. But they are starting to let you have them at places here now. My last job didnt mind my gauges or my lip rings or anything.

    Re: Stretched ears

I've currently got my lobes to 1 1/8" with tear drop opalite plugs. I had to go the extra 1/8" to fit the opalites inside the black ear skins since I like the way the black outline brings out the opal color.
I also have the holes above those dropped down to 0g but I'm not wearing anything in them for the time being. I've got a few pictures of my progress on my myspace http://www.myspace.com/x0hollow0x
    Just took this picture:

This was the largest I had both holes stretched together before I had to drop down the top holes. 9/16" and 5/8" There was just too much pressure between the two plugs that they were splitting the skin, lots of pain, not cool.

And of course, most of the rest of my piercings:

    3/4 lobes
    6 gauge septum
    12 gauge snake bites.
septum stretches put lobes to shame.
