Since several of you here knew & loved him as much as we did...

After 14 years of awesome antics, entertaining multitudes of people, TV appearances & being loved immensely by everyone here @ NERD, we bid a heartbroken farewell to our friend Poseidon.

Thanks big guy, for all the joy you brought us in the time we had with you. Thank you for all the lives you touched, for all the people to whom you gave a greater appreciation of all living things, just by interacting with you.



Here's Poseidon on the Today Show with Bindi & Terri Irwin just a couple of months ago.

To say we're all crushed would be a big understatement right now.

Oh no!!! Oh Kara, I can't imagine how devastated you and Kevin must be right now. I'm so sorry! And so very sad! He was, by far, the most awesome lizard I ever met!

Kara and Kevin, as you know, I was so heartbroken for both of you yesterday when you shared the news with me, and I will continue to send loving prayers your way, while you move through the process of grieving your dear friend P.

I already told ya, but I'm really sorry to see him go. He was the sweetest giant lizard I have ever come across, and he had a great life with you guys.
