No I figured that much that he was just a variation, I guess Im also kinda curious as to whether his coloration is desired on a Mojo, or rather what makes a mojo a good mojo. I read the hunter's guide but the one shown is a dark mojave so I didnt know what to think of him. I choose my snakes by what is desirable to me, and his main goal in life is to produce a BEL one day. I just wanted to know if he was like a grade A mojo or if theyre even graded.

Whats up with him is that He is a GREAT example of the morph.

What you see is a lot of peole buying Mojos, just to buy a mojo. They dont take into effect that crappy colored mojos make crappy colored snakes (generally speaking, always up for debate).

When you get clean animals, and breed because it is a beautiful snake, you are in fact selective breeding for that particular trait.

My mojos, have a green tint to them, with almost NO yellow.

Other mojos' have high popping yellow....but generally fade out as the baby matures.

it's just how a mojo should look, unfortunately with co-doms the quality varies, especially when no thought is given to selective breeding only to producing as many as possible.

Those are the ones that Ive seen, the high yellow dark ones. I see some adults posted on KS that just dont look that great but I assume that's what Mojos look like with age, which is why I got all bent out of shape excited about this guy.

Would you folks say that Mojaves clean up other morphs in combos or are Mojaves the ones that get cleaned up in combinations? Im pretty one track with what I got him for, but if he can make some interesting combos along the way Id like to do that too.

Pastel Mojos are a personal favorite of mine. I have not seen a Mojo Spider in person, but from the pictures I have seen, it is very subtle.

Hmm. So not like lessers or butters where they can be used a genetic powerhouse for combinations. Well, thanks for your input.
