The two books already mentioned are by far the two most desired books by anyone interested in Ball Pythons and they are written by pioneers of the captive breeding craze. They are crammed with tons of information. The Kevin McCurley book is a little more focused on the hobbyist side of things where as the Barkers book has a more scientific aproach but both great books and a must read for anyone interested in Balls. A third book which I find to be great is Designer Morphs by John Berry. This book does not have much, if any information about the care and husbandry and such like the first two books but it is the most comprehensive pist and pictorial of all the morphs with descriptions of what is used to make them. This book covers the majority of morphs in Ball Pythons, Red-Tail and Central American Boas, Carpet Pythons, Blood Pythons and Rainbow Boas.
