striped pastel?
ok so i have found a striped pastel that is up for adoption, the owner is asking 350 for the snake and no supplies is that a fair price? I dont wanna get ripped off by someone just trying to get top dollar for a morph from people that dont know any better.
here is a pic too!

Re: striped pastel?
It is up to you. If you want to pay that price for him then go right ahead.
I would pay $350 for that animal IMO.

Re: striped pastel?
It is a very nice pastel. Is it a male or female. Males usually go for less then 350 but you are going to pay alittle more for that nice strip. If it is a female then it is definitly worth 350. I think female pastels are worth the weight in gold. Some go for 600- 800 when 1000 grams or more. But in the end it is what you like and are willing to pay.

Re: striped pastel?
If I may comment on this thread, this is actually my snake that I am selling, I have an add for him on here too. If you would like for me to answer some more questions about his genetics I would be happy to do so. He is an 07 male, 1142 grams, and he is from a pairing of a lemon pastel male to an unusual abberant striped wild caught female. I did not get the chance to prove him out, but the breeder I purchased him from told me that he had proved him out and that the babies had a lot of similar coloration and patterning. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. Thanks.

Since Alli has an ad here for that animal, you would need to PM her regarding the ad and not use the open forum.

Re: striped pastel?
Do you think he is worth it?
I think he is a fine looking pastel and an adult too. Most pastels look great(and get sold) as babies then brown out alot as adults. With this guy you know what he is gonna look like as an adult so that is a plus.
If he looks as good in person as he does in the pic then he is definately a nicer looking one.
You are always going to pay more for an adult than a baby.

Had i known that the snake had been advertised on here i would have totally PMed Alli however i found this snake on craigslist not this site. i hadnt been able to get any info on the snake so i just figured i would ask the opinions of some more experienced morph owners thats all. Sorry if i did wrong it was not intentional at all

No problem, just from here on out we ask folks to PM her vs. asking questions in this thread. BTW, I don't blame you for asking as it's a very nice looking Pastel.
