    my old man has a remington 10 and 12 guage we shot over 250 rounds one day and the next day u definitly feel a sore shoulder especially when shooty the big bucks shot they give a good kick

    That was going to be my next question.. Any ballpark figures on $ cost trigger pull on a 10-gauge vs. a 12-gauge right now? I know ammo prices can be as volatile as gasoline.

    Shotgun shells usually are not really pricey, depending on gauge and type. I usually buy it by the case on sale at walmart or Gander Mountain.

    10-gauges really vary from gun to gun. Some will kick you hard, some won't be much worse than a nasty 12-gauge. The big thing is pulling them really snug into your shoulder. For me, I have to put a pad on my shoulder in between me and the butt, because I lack the natural padding there, and bruise the bone too badly on the kickers.

    I just found a new source of reloaded ammo for the rifles/pistols. Shotgun shells, just buy a couple cases when turkey season starts, and you'll find good sales.
