Re: What do you like about BPnet?
I like to absorb and pass on knowledge, I like that I can come here and find so many people to share my passion and hobby with. If at home, my BP does something quirky/funny...I can tell people around me but they dont get it. Everyone here not only gets it, but can relate. It's awesome.

I like the fact that I can come here and get the best advice from experienced keepers. I also like the way everyone comes together to help one another out when someone is in need. This is by far the best forum that I have ever been a member of.

Re: What do you like about BPnet?
Hmmmm, is admiring OK too?
I seriously admire the way the folks who run this place do the same thing day in and day out, answer the same questions over and over and keep genuine smiles going while they do it.
I like watching people, especially the ones who come with preconceived notions of grandeur and omniscience, actually learn valuable information from folks who truly care about not only their snakes but the folks who ask.
I like seeing the excitement of first timers whether it's a kid with a first snake or a keeper with years of experience hatching a first, or hundredth clutch, and doing a virtual happy dance of exuberance.
I like Heather too, she's pretty cool.
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?
Stinky says, "Women should be obscene but not heard." Stinky is one smart man.

Re: What do you like about BPnet?
I like the fact I have already made a few local friends with similar interests.
I love that people offer their opinions or expertise on a problem or question you have, no matter how newb, or whatever it may be.
I like animal pictures, so this place ROCKS for that.
Plenty of stuff I like but those are the most important things.

I like conversing with people that are into the same thing that I am into, snakes. I like hearing their thoughts, opinion, and stories.

Re: What do you like about BPnet?
I like that when I stumbled into this place as a total newcomer some years ago, nobody made fun of me or thought my constant questions were a bad thing. Everyone stepped up, offered advice, shared their wisdom - heck even personal phone numbers if I needed immediate help with something.
I think what I liked the most, and still do about BPNet, was that people didn't just tell me what to do and expect me to blindly follow their lead. They took the time to encourage me to learn so that I could develop my own skills with the snakes and in turn be able to step up and offer help to somebody else down the road.
