It is really up to you and how much you want to spend!
I wouldn't say price is my biggest concern, but right now money is a little tight... can't really spare more than $300 (including shipping), and prefer to spend closer to $250. I've found hatchling spiders of both genders in this price range, although males are a little cheaper & more available. Huh. 
I emailed the breeder of the snake in that first link, to inquire about shipping costs and so forth. We'll see what happens, but maybe I should choose based on looks - and worry about gender/pairing later.
