Very cool Josh. I hatched one out of my Goblin line very similar to that this year. It's a male .........Wish it was a girl. Only had one in my clutch though. By the way did you try breeding your dinker from TC this year?

I think the mom is the key to these extreme orange flames. With most babies they loss their orange highlights as they mature. They are awesome none the least. The mom doesnt look like a yb to me. I have a few ybs and have looked at alot even have to clutches from ybs in the incubator, but i havent seen any that look like mom. Try the mom with another morph and see if you get the high orang sides. It will be interesting to see them grow. They even have matching lateral patterns. The mom looks like is carrying something.

wow dude, now thats something different.. i like that alot.
got myself a pair of 07s, although the female is miles off of being able to breed.. might be looking at 2011 for her, but she has just started eating like mad again.

Nope, the dinkers are '08s though the male is up to 750g and the female is upto almost 700g. The father that Tom still has only fathered2 clutches this year i think, but they have not hatched yet. If any "Special" females hatch I am probably going to pick up a couple more to grow up incase something does prove out.

I was thinking the same thing. I do think the mother has contributed to the flames...I was looking them over last night and I have 1 that I am sure is not YB but does have the flames, just not as extreme as the YB sibs

    Re: Interesting '09 Yellow Belly

That looks absolutely fantastic. No 'subtle' morph there.

Back when I bought my yellowbelly, I went for the cheapest price and ended up with one of the most average, nondescript looking yellow bellies you can imagine. I didn't really care, I figured that as long as it makes me an ivory, it really didn't matter what the yellow belly itself looked like. After seeing pics of your animal, I think I made the wrong choice. I think I would have been happier spending a little extra and getting a good looking animal like that one.
