Great News!!!!!

Bella (my normal female) ate last night - she ended her 4 week fast. I ended up offering her f/t mice instead of the f/t rats I was offering - she struck at both mice really quickly - I am soooo happy that she is eating again.

Just wanted to share.

Congrats! Its always good to see them eat; gives you a sense of accomplishment.

Yes, I was very stressed out over the fact that week after week she would not eat - then I thought - maybe she just doesn't like rats any longer - tried the mice and wham - she ate like her old self.

I guess I will stick with mice going forward - don't want to jinx it.

Congrats! My snake finally ate last night after not having eaten for ten days. It's always a great feeling when they finally eat for you.

This was my first experience with a "fast" and after four weeks of missed feedings - yes, its makes you worry and wonder what you are doing wrong. But, as it turns out - she was fine just stubborn - she knew what she wanted and was willing to wait until I figured it out. LOL
