HR 669 Update

I've been in touch many times w/P. DeFazio, but since he's a COSPONSOR, communication with him is like spitting in the wind. However, it was cleverly pointed out to me that we all should find out who the COMMITTE members are, not the cosponsors...and be in direct contact with the actual COMMITTEE.

My sis lives in WA, and her rep is on the COMMITTEE and (at the time she contacted him) didn't understand all that was involved should HR 669 pass. Her brilliant point was the fact that this as being presented, would have some very bad effects on the WA state importing, due to the number of foreign ships arriving in Puget Sound. Management and punishment would be a nightmare should some non-native critter be "imported" in the bilge water or on the hull of a ship.

Just some thoughts. I've been chasing COMMITTEE MEMBERS since. DeFazio is a waste of time.
