    Hvae you tried pre scenting? Leave the open bag with mouse contents near the enclosure and leave the room for 30 minutes. It usually gets the snake into feeding mode.

    I wish I knew what my BP did.. but she hasn't eaten for me yet... However my King doesn't coil on 1/2 the mice he gets LOL

    Only one of mine (Toby) has eaten F/T thus far, and he doesn't strike or constrict them either. He just slithers up to the dead prey, looks at it for a second, and then gulps it down slowly. He usually eats live, since that's what my others get, and will strike/constrict with those - so I guess they do know the difference between dead & living food!

    My new girl doesn't like being watched either, as her breeder told me when I got her... but we stayed in the room at her last feeding, just out of sight, and she went for it after a few. I did cover the tank halfway with a light cloth (old curtain), which seemed to help her feel more secure.
