How Often.......?
Ok I have a few snakes, but this one is stumping me..... My garters are 08 babies and are on pretty regular cycle with shedding,.. now I have had my littel baby BP 09 baby... for a month and a half Bought hin May 11. He shed around the beginning of June and now is going for another shed. His eyes have blued up and I have bumped up the humidity... Is it usual for a baby Ball Python to shed so quickly and close together?
1 baby normal ball python (male- Rios)
1 baby spider ball python (female - Missy)
1 albino checkered garter (male - Little Dude)
1 checkered garter (male - Hudinie)
1 albion checkered garter (female - Rescue)

If they are on a good feeding schedule, shedding is a good thing - they are growing and that's exactly what you want. Each snake is different, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

It will slow down around the 6 or 7 month mark, maybe even a little earlier.. Snakes have to grow fast because in the wild they are on there own out of the egg so they need to be able to defend themselves in someway.. That small they are pretty easy prey.
Cheers

Re: How Often.......?
That sounds just about right for a young BP.
I've got my records in front of me and my Spider and Pastel, that hatched in Dec08, have both shed very consistently every 30-35 days, they are now both over 550g and it appears that are shedding at greater intervals
