My BP Candice will take pretty much anything given to her. She don't care whether is a little warm or really warm, small or big, she'll eat it. Instantly when I put her in her feeding container she knows it's feeding time so she goes on a feeding frenzy until she has at least one f/t mouse. That's how she bit me, she wouldn't get off of my hand and my finger was sticking out. I now feed her two large f/t mice, and the first time I fed her one (2 weeks ago) she went into shed a few days after. My Dumeril's boa is more of a picky girl. She don't like f/t food, she don't like mice, and she doesn't really like being watched when she hunts but now she's getting more comfortable eating in front of people.
