I know, the cut edition has been published around 1978, the full version in the early nineties...
But I am a fast reader, if I like the book, the Lord of the Rings (all three books) took me 3 days too (the nights as well) the first time i did read it (i have read it 5 times in total by now).
But the book i read most often is American Psycho (I guess 8 times), I am addicted somehow...
