    Reptile Bulb Life

So I got a baby ball a few weeks ago and hes doing great. I bought a bulb when I got him for the lamp and it just died on me this morning. Do they die that often? I only have it on during the day and turn it off at night.

Bulbs are not the sturdiest things. Mine exploded once with no warning. CHEs are a lot more durable and last longer, especially if you hook it up to a lamp dimmer so it's not running 100%.
