I feed hatchlings every 5 days once I get them started well. I found refusals were too frequent on a 4 day schedule.

    Re: baby BP feeding

Depends on how big you want it to get. Majority people will say 5-7 days.

I feed babies every 5 days until they reach 300 grams. Then every 7 days.

    Re: baby BP feeding

If you just want him to pick up some girth, just feed him every 5 days for a few weeks, then switch to 7 days.

I would say mix it up a bit, but ball pythons are funny about stuff like that and he may go off feed.

    Re: baby BP feeding

I got my BP about a month ago and she was barely a little longer than that and thin.

She ate 5 days later after the last time the exotic pet store lady fed her, and she has kept on eating every 5 days. She always attacks the mouse within seconds of putting in her enclosure. Except the last time I fed her, which I tried to feed her a rat pup. I guess because it was a new expirience for her and my self lol. But still She attack the rat after 1 minute of studying it (or at least thats what it looked like), maybe 2 minutes tops. She ate every 5 days even thorugh shed.

The size of the mice are the size of her widest part or sometimes a little bigger. She has a nice thickness now, but I dont believe she is fat.

There was one time where I though she was fat, but then she pooped and pee'd all together one time, and she got back to her regular thickness. And I was like "ohhhhhhh! sorry I called you a fat lady"

If you just fed on the 26th, I would think Monday would be to soon. that would only be three days. I would wait until Tuesday maybe even Wednesday.

By the way, very cute little one you have there.
