    how many litters?

on average how many litters do you let your ASF's have before retireing them and starting up a new trio? Mine have only had 3 litters the second of which was HUGE and this last litter was pretty darn SMALL. do you think that that last litter of 32 pinks (between 2 mamas) tired them out, makeing this litter smaller (11 pinks between mamas) or are they just past their prime? sorry if this is a newb question but im new to this whole thing. any help will be greatfully accepted

Are you sure they both had babies this time?

    Re: how many litters?

im pretty sure it was just the one mama but im not totaly sure. neither one of them look preggo right now ither and the litter in there is already almost 2 weeks. every litter in the past they have looked pretty darn "knocked up" by now. i dunno if i get another really small litter outta them i might just start up a new trio. what do you think?

    Re: how many litters?

I have a trio that only one mom gave birth and the other didn't look prego until 2 days before she gave birth. The babies were just smaller in size, she had 10 though. Also, the other babies were around 1 1/2 weeks old by then. Overall, most of mine give birth usuaully around the same time.

    Re: how many litters?

in all previous litters both mothers always delivered within hours of each other. so i dunno if the 11 that i got this time around came from the same mom or if only one delivered.
