Cheap with booze is the requirements.
I'll let it slide this time. After all you have planned our last 5 get togethers lol. I am sure its more than that though lol. What would we do without Heather.

After speaking with a few people yesterday, the place that seemed to come up most given our guidelines was Buca di Beppo, 705 6th Ave., San Diego. It's about 7-8 blocks away from the Civic Center. Please check it out and let me know what you think. Here's the link:

Another option that was mentioned was Karl Strauss Brewery, 1157 Columbia Street, which is about 5-6 blocks away from the show. I think it's a bit more expensive than the other, but there isn't anything in downtown/Gas Lamp that is cheap, and someone mentioned that their beer sampler is a good deal. Here's the link to that one if you want to check it out:

I'm all over Buca there portions are huge and there is plenty of room for a big group at least here in Vegas as far as a watering hole as long as they have Soda we are cool with it

There are some bars that were recommended to me, but I didn't want to exclude the under 21 group. I can call Buca's to find out what they have for a bar/booze.

Ok, here's what I found out. Buca does have a full bar- not a large one - it's fits about 30 people- mostly it's a place for people waiting for tables to sit. But, you can get alcohol.

Tony sent me this one:

The real question is, how many people are expected to show up? I'm counting around 10 for sure... Who else???
