    Why?

My young ball python, Les, pooped liquidy stuff one time but since then he has pooped normally. His eyes seem to be kind of dirty. When he shed a month ago his eyes were shiny. Is this ok or should I have him checked out the nearest herp vet is down in South Hills Pittsburgh which is about an hour and a half away and i dont want to waste my trip.

Maybe try putting him in a bathtub, filled up about 2-3 1/2 " high with luke warm water and letting him soak... His eyes look dirty? Do they look sorta milky blue? If so that just means he's going into shed.. So if he is going into shed keep up humidity and give him soaks like i said...

    Re: Why?

I agree with the other two posts. Sounds like he's going into shed again. Is it just his eyes that look dirty/cloudy or does the skin all over his body look kind of dull?
