Nice pics dude. I almost got the courage to try to handle my biak last night while it was off its perch.
Chondros at night is a huge no no to start with. It's also best to wake them so the groggy feeling makes them less aware of their surroundings. Biting is often a last defense. Holding (trying) an awake chondro is asking to get bit.
