Ball and corn set up questions

I am looking to re-do Jake (my balls) setup, he's ready to move into a bigger tank. Right now, he has a half log (I have burried the end so it's like a burrow), a water bowl almost as big as his hide, second hide on the warm side is an X-o-terra large hide, and a small little flower ornament, along with the aspen. UTH and over head blue light (we turn the temp down in the house down to 60's at night, he needs the over head light to give him his warmth at night)When he goes into a bigger tank, I will need more "filler" if you will so he's secure. Any suggestions or could I see some of your set-ups so I can get an idea of what I like and best for him?

    Corn snakes:

Ira has 1 coconut hide and a water bowl, does he need more in his as well? He's on aspen. He has an UTH on the side, not under, following instructions on the heater.

Zeke, the new baby, has a small coconut and a water bowl, he's on paper because he dug into the aspen and FREAKED us out thinking he got out (He's VERY VERY tiny, hatchling, first shed now) heater on the side, like Ira, following instructions on the heater. Does he need more?

    Thanks

Well I don't know much about corn setups so I will just stick to the ball pythons.

What size tank is he in currently? How big is the snake?
They don't need much more than a 20g long. I would also think about getting another exoterra hide like the one you already have. I think he will be much happier with two of the same kind.

As for filler, just decorative plastic plants and stuff will do fine.

Jake's about 24-25 inches long and in a 10 gallon tank. I read that 24 inches is max in a 10 gallon. (ball python)

Ira (corn) is same length in a 5 gallon, we're moving him into Jake's old 10 gallon.

Zeke (baby corn) is new, and moving into Ira's old 5 gallon.

Well, length is a pretty arbitrary measurement for ball pythons. Do you know his weight? I would say at 500g it is safe to move up to a 20gallon.

weighed at his vet about a week ago at 398 grams, not near the 500, so should I wait to move him up? He's only 6 months old.

If he is feeding consistently for you then I don't think it will be too much of a problem. Just make sure to give him some time to adjust when you move him and try to clutter up his tank a bit.

She doesn't really climb. It's more to just take up space, and a shed aid.
