    Is my female gravid?

There are probably other threads like this, but i couldn't find any to answer my question...So here it goes. My 05 female has been housed with my 06 male since they were little babies. I know I'll probably get some heat for that, but I've never had any problems with their health because of how I've kept them. And I plan on seperating them pretty soon here.
Last year my female did show signs of wanting to breed with my male, but he was not interested in the slightest. But this year I have caught them with their tails together. But I don't know if it was a real lock or not. Anyway, that was a couple weeks ago and my female just ate on the 12th of June, and now she's deep in blue. But I've realized her abdomen has swelled a bit and is more firm. She has definantly gained more girth there to. Could this be a sign she is gravid? And also i was wondering if ball pythons commonly breed out of season?
Here's a couple pics of my female i just took, if that helps at all.

I keep them in a 5 foot boaphile cage with 2 hides on the cool and warm side. Thanks in advance for any help. I appreciate it.

    Re: Is my female gravid?

Without going into the "don't house them together" argument, no she does not look gravid to me. It generally takes more than one lock for a female to become gravid. The whole process often takes a few months.
