Hide too small?
I just got my new female adult yesterday, and had the tank set up before she arrived. She is about 1590g, and the breeder recommended a 20g tank since she was previously living in a rack/tub. So I had these giant rock caves all ready for her, but she was bigger than I envisioned, and had to squeeze herself into them.
According to the sticky on hides, I should be using (something like) either an XL Zilla cubbyhole or small litter pan, since she's right at the edge weight-wise. Problem is, there's no WAY I could fit two of those - at least not the litter pans - into her 20g tank! Since they are supposed to have two identical hides, what do you suggest? Here are a few pictures, so you can see if the current hides are too small... I know they like being in tight spots, but this seems to be pushing it.

She managed to stuff herself in there, but I swear it lifts up every time she breathes!

Re: Hide too small?
Sweet, thanks! I was going to be upset if they were too small, since I paid $25/each and can't return them (got them in San Diego). Amazing how they can stuff ALL of that into such a small space... huh?

Honestly, she probably likes them that snug. My first BP also moved the hide every time she breathed lol but she loved it. They like feeling really snug and cramped almost. I would leave it be.
