URI help- Bay area, Ca
Well I took one of my snakes to the vet 2 weeks ago with an URI. I requested injectable batril, he said no, that it didnt work and caused more death then it cured. I've never heard this, I've always heard good things about it. needless to say, $60 later he's still not any better. I've been giving him oral baytril per that vet and its only getting worse. I have the herp vet connection up and am calling to make an apointment for him tomorrow, but my question is, has anyone had any good experiences with reptile vets in the bay area? He's going regardless if I hear something or not, I'm just looking for reccomendations

Oral Baytril just takes longer to work from what I understand because it takes them longer to digest.
Sounds like you need a new Vet who will actually listen to you :/. Remember, you are paying them for their services. You should be able to get what you need.

I was told the same thing by a vet haha. They need UV light to digest apparently.
I guess UV rays can get...underground?
