    thoughts on growing up

So a year ago, I got my first BP, Eve. She's still my only one. She was a teeny, tiny, 08 hatchling when I got her. Now she's over 500g (haven't weighed her recently), and is roughly 3 feet long.
I was out at the reptile store last week, oohing and aahing over the new 09 babies. Its amazing to think of how tiny my girl was a year ago, compared to today.
And of course, now I've got the urge to go buy an 09 baby, so i can submerge myself in the cuteness.

It is hard to resist the urge. I traded my 08 baby for a Boa late last year and and regretted it since. Im planning on getting a BP or two this July at a show.

Do the right thing and get at least one more.

yeah, well money has been tight. I've been holding out for a male spider, but being incredibly broke, it doesn't look like that's gonna happen anytime soon... maybe in another year or two...until then, can't go wrong with another normal girl!
