    In my short bit of experience with aspen, it molds insanely quick when you do any misting with it. I use it for our corn snake over here but for the balls/bloods its either newspaper or cypress. Just remember, spot cleaning is critical to making it last! Any bit of excrement that you miss WILL mold if you really start wetting it down.
