    Red ASF's

In our weaned tank most of the smaller weans rats have a redish look to them... Is this just them rubbing on each other? Peeing on each other? Is this something I should be worrying about? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Awesome I was kind of starting to get worried a bit. This is our first big group of weaners.

They're looking a little patchy. What kind of protein percentage are you giving your ASFs? I got something like that when I was giving over 20% protein. Switched them back to the 16% the regular rats are on and it stopped.

Hmm i'm not sure i'll have to check next time we get lab block. I have been giving them lab block and mixed seeds and just let them choose.

    Re: Red ASF's

Could it be that they all stack on top of each other continually? There are about 50 or so in a 40 breeder tank, but they all seem to want to stick in the same hide.

    Re: Red ASF's

They generally always stick in a big pile, but I have not seen that whispy of hair being directly caused by them rubbing or anything of that nature. It's quite eery to see a balding ASF.
