    You can use as many heating elements as you want as long as they do not exceed the maximum wattage specified in the manual. The heating elements should all be the same and they should be heating the same size cages. If the cages or heat elements differ then you will get different temps in each enclosure which is not what you are looking for.

    If you want two control different set ups or heat elements you will need a Herpstat II or Herpstat PRO.

    You could tack on another rack of the same type as long as the wattage is not exceeded. You would place your probe somewhere in the middle if you stacked your new rack on top of your existing one.
