Re: Okay, I am now 100% set on getting this morph...
I understand citing references etc etc but is it really necessary to copywrite an internet picture? It is my understanding and I may be wrong that information found on the net if it is not in a research or published form, along with if the information is common knowledge it does not need a reference. In this case if you google an image and it comes up as a picture that the individual allows to be cut/copied/pasted is this a copywrite infringement?
Not arguing, just looking for clarification for future use of this forum.

This is -absolutely not- how this is. All images are copyright the original photographer, even if they appear on a random image search. The original photographer should always put a watermark and copyright information on their images because people think that if they find something on the internet its free or something.. i'll never understand this school of thought but that is a rant for another time
With the common knowledge stuff, thats the stuff you dont have to cite in a paper or something (Ie, a fact like "snakes are reptiles" doesn't need to be cited because its common knowledge).

I saw that snake in person a few weeks ago when I was at Mark Mandic's place picking out some snakes- it's a fantastic looking creature.

But I'm afraid to look up the price. I don't want to burst my bubble just yet..
But, oh my god, I just can wrap my head around how amazing this morph is!

yeah but if you're posting a link which has the image, your already citing it as the link being the source (granted that the picture from the cited link is original and owned by the link provided)
In other words, no credit is necessarily needed to give, due to citing the link...
And I only know this due to critical abstracts in which I did tons of in college...

just to clarify...
