    Toddlers and talcum powder!

One toddler to be precise. I was out the back of the house being the dutiful husband that I am and was content in the knowledge that my darling daughter was sitting peacefully, watching Balamory. Unbeknown to me she had got her paws on the talcum powder and, well this is the fun she was having

I couldn't even be cross at her for laughing. I'm crap at being a strict father

She's just about to turn two and it's true what they say. You can't take your eye off them for two seconds or else they're up to something but it's all good

My younger sister once powdered my sleeping father and the entire couch... while he stayed asleep. His whole body... head, hair, clothing, the whole couch... yep.
At least it'll smell nice and fresh.

She certainly seemed to enjoy herself. She has also took to redecorating the walls with various colours of crayon. All in all she has had a very productive weekend

    Re: Toddlers and talcum powder!

LOL! Yeah, I would just be grateful that it wasn't finger paints or something else wet and sticky. Two year old are a test in patience and vigilance. I have a 7 and 9 year old and they both think they know more than I do now, because what does a silly old mom know? (I'm thinking it doesn't get any easier in the preteen and teen years either ... eep)

The trick is to take lots of these 'cute' pictures and be ready to use them as blackmail in the high school yearbook if they don't behave.
