    rescued mex red knee still has a naked rump???????

    i rescued her bout a month ago she is about 2 and she still has no hair on her booty. is there any way to help it comeback quicker? i have her set up PERFECT and she eats bout twice a week.

    They can only replace those hairs when they molt - you get a totally shiny new spider.

    Keep an eye on the bald patch - when they are approaching a molt you should be able to see it get darker as the new skin forms underneath it.

    Pretty!!! These guys grow very slowly, and with one as big as that, that is eating well, you could have quite a long wait on your hands before it moults. By the way, feeding 3 large prey items a week is a bit more than that T needs, 2 is more than enough, but since its a brachypelma, go ahead and feed it 3 a week as long as it will take them. It will stop eating when it gets full or is getting ready to moult. Don't get upset, some large ones will fast for 4 to 6 months before a moult.

    Pretty. I have a rose hair, well I gave it to my mother, so she has a rose hair, it's huge, I need to snap some updated pictures of it. BTW, what in the world is your sig, it has a very good latch on your thumb.
