How adorable!!! Now you want to talk about CUTE animals- these guys are up there with puppies and kittens for the adorable factor. Are they nice/tame? Do they bite much?

Re: A few of our leos

Thanks all for the nice comments.

Leos are nice if they're handled as hatchlings. We handle all of our babies and they are very handleable. The babies try to bite but their little mouths are so small they can't get you. They mainly just scream a lot as hatchlings. As adults, they can bite just like all other animals. I've been bitten by a large male who bit through my fingernail and drew blood. Didn't really hurt, there was just a lot of blood because of the anti-coagulates (sp?) in their saliva. Over-all, they are great pets! Fun, colorful, and they have amazing personalities and facial expressions.
