You would need at least bumblee het axanthic x pastel het axanthic. If you were you use a killer be het axanthic and a pastel het axanthic it would increase your odds.

Steve's zebra pastels are amazing. Hopefully he can actually produce some this year. I e-mailed him a while ago asking about them and at the time he hadn't successfully hatched any.

My post was a bit rushed yesterdya, so here it is, the best way IMO and quickest way to produce one from scratch.

Bumblebee male x axanthic female - 25% pastel, 25% spider, 25%normal & 25% bumblebee all 100% het axanthic

hold back male bumblebee het axanthic and a pastel het axanthic, raise the male bumblebee axanthic up and then do

bumblebee het axanthic male x axanthic female - 25% bumblebee, 25% pastel, 25% spider and 25% normal - 50% of which will be axanthics.

hope and pray for a male bumblebee axanthic and then do

bumblebee axanthic x pastel het axanthic - 12.5% killerbee, 12.5% super pastel, 25% pastel 25%, bumblebee 25%spider, 50% off the clutch will also be axanthics.

I would say an efficient way to produce one, assuming your budget was about $800 per year, would be something like this:

2009 - Buy Axanthic Female
2010 - Buy Pastel het Axanthic male
2011 - Buy Bumblebee male (breed pastel het axanthic male to axanthic female, hold back 2012 female pastel het axanthics and pastel axanthics)
2012 - Breed Bumblebee male to axanthic female (Hold all 2013 bee het axanthics, pray for a boy)
2013 - Breed whatever you want to your axanthic female (enchi? pin?)
2014 - Breed 2013 bumblebee het axanthic male to 2012 pastel axanthic and pastel het axanthic females. Sacrifice jumbo rats to BP gods.
2015 - Hatch Killerbee Axanthic, throw big party, invite BP.net crew.

It could be confusing if he were to ever cross that with a spider.

As far as working out the punnet square, remember you're working with three traits. Your goal animal would be homozygous axanthic, homozygous pastel and spider all rolled up into one right? I believe that if you bred a het axanthic pastel with a het axanthic bumblebee you'd have about a 1 in 24 chance of producing what you are looking for.
