I know - no pictures right now - only because I need to run to Petsmart and Home Depot before they close! BUT - I was in NC this past week visiting with my family and my 98 year old grandmother.
I knew that Echo was due to lay ANY day - and of course, she didn't lay before I left. She's carrying my possible het clown clutch. She and Oliver made gorgeous babies last year, just horrible odds (3.1). So, Trey Barnard (mxrider42) was wonderful enough to agree to come over, check on the rats and make sure they had enough water and to check on Echo and set up eggs if they came while I was gone.
Sure enough - they came! I got a text message with a picture on Thursday that simply said "they are here!" and five beautiful eggs!
I JUST got home and checked on them, and they are beautiful, big plump eggs, and I already see little eyes in some of the eggs! Thank you Trey for helping ease some of my worry and making sure that they got set up quickly!
