I've had my boa for just over a year now... It is fairly easy to take care of. The most difficult part is cleaning up the large specimens of fecal matter once every now and then. Jesus, they can drop some heavy loads.

My boa doesn't really climb on me when I open the cage, but he has a good temperament and has never bitten or been vicious. The only time I've ever gotten hissed at was when he was in shed and it was like 12 hours before he shed his skin. Boas love feeding though, the feeding responses are like clockwork for me.
