    Poll Thread

I was wondering what type of tracking system you all used to record your herp(s) feeding, deficating, urates, shedding cage cleaning etc schedules?
And if you breed how do you track cycling, breeding, clutching etc?
Feel free to elaborate on what you do. Or if you use a software would you recommend it?
    Sincerely
    Rusty

    Re: Poll Thread

For us we use a software system that is free off the internet. "The Reptile Keeper", I have a small amount of animals in house so it works for now. If we get a larger bunch I will be shopping around. We also have a paper filing system. We keep all the surrender documents, vet records, court records (if a cruelty case), and adoption papers.
    Seems to work well.

I have an Excel workbook (multiple tabs) with a sheet for each reptile. One file for snakes, one for lizards and one for reptiles that we no longer have.

Rusty I am going to remember to call you one of these days!

I use Degei. I keep a notebook in the snake room where I jot notes, then drag it up once a week or so to enter it all into the computer.

    Re: Poll Thread

I have degei on my laptop and I just enter in as I go. I have tried all of the herp software and degei is by far the easiest for me to use.
