    Insulation

Will foam board (used for school projects and such) insulate my tank and bring the ambient temp up from low 70s to where it needs to be? I was going to use black foam board because I am one for aesthetics, but if I need something better I will use it. Any suggestions?

Nevermind, I found it in a sticky. Aesthetics are good!

Mission accomplished! One trip to Walmart for three pieces of black foam board, and the ambient temp is already up to 77! I hope she likes her new dark black box haha.

Great! I used black core board when I used a tank. Worked like a charm.

It's in the school supplies section, with the posterboard. Pretty cheap too, $2.88 for a 20x30 rectangle.
