Flexwatt question
I just built my first rack and I'm going to use 4" flexwatt belly heat. This is my first time doing it, and I was wondering can I wire it up to have only one outlet?
My shelves are 2ft long and there are five of them. I wanted to have the flexwatt on each shelf then I would connect them together with using extension cord but I will only have one plug at the end. Am I making sense? lol. Anyway help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Flexwatt question
makes perfect sense, you want to wire them in series with one plug.bean farm has a wiring diagram on there site.are you soldering the wires to the flexwatt or using clips? if using the clips make sure to crimp them down hard and insulate the connections.Go Tigers!!!

I plan on soldering but which would you prefer? Reptile basics will do it for you but I think they use clips. Thanks for the help!

Re: Flexwatt question
If you can solder and have the equipment, that is the best way to go.
Or you can have Rich do it, I am pretty sure that he will solder the connections as well.
If you get stuck, or need help, just post up a few quick pics and I am sure that lots of other members will chime in with ways to solve the problem.
If it is something that you need verbal instruction for, PM me, I have the network
