Thanks..... He has been a avid eater in the last week and a half..... Now I got him from Petco where they were feeding him a couple of hoppers a week,.. So I do not think that his growth was stunted in any way. His muscle tone is great and he is very active, of course in the middle of the night. There really isn't any way to be certain.
Size is based more on how they were eating than actual age.
if they were really stubborn non-eaters or the breeder had them on a maintenance diet only they really wouldn't grow much at all.
So he could have been a horrible eater from late last year or an ok eater from early this year.
Then again at 158 and three-quarter feet he might have been from the jurrasic era.
