Finished Enclosure with Snake!
Well, I finally got my custom enclosure all finished (which was inspired by ev477), and received my new normal ball on Thursday. Here are a few pics. He seems to prefer hiding behind his hidebox instead of in it. (I know, they are too large. I ordered several sizes, and one seems too small, and the other too big. So, I put the small on inside the larger one, and that seems to be about right.)

Here are some photos of the bottom of the cage. I have a plexiglass bottom, with heat tape attached to each side. I live in Minnesota, so it seemed like two UTH's were neccesary. I am running the heat tape with a Herpstat II -- which is absolutely amazing. I then have it all insulated with a piece of Reflectix.

Thanks for looking,

I know this is an old post but I was wondering how you went about making that door?

I know it looks sharp but balls need a lot of privacy. i can see the ball trying to hide in the left corner. FILL FILL FILL with rock caves, fake vines etc.

I want to know how your heating works? Can you provide a detailed description of how you came up with that design.
I really like your custom enclosure.

Nice I love it.
My snakes like to hide behind their hides, under them if they have side holes, etc. Silly snakes.
