That's a pastel. Not a very good representation of the morph, but a pastel.

If you look at the patterns, they match up. (unfortunately the tail covers his neck in the first picture or those two neck spots in the second picture would give it away, but the 8 halfway down the upper section is shown identically in both pictures).
ok yeah I do see the pattern is the same in those two pics and I can tell in the one you found that it is a pastel! Thanks for all the help!!

    May I offer my opinion?

Yes - he's a pastel. BUT - are you interested in getting him just for the sake of getting a male pastel? And if you get him, are your intentions to breed him?

The reason that I ask - if it were me, and I were looking for a male pastel to add to my collection to be a breeder for my small hobbiest business, I would not choose that male to be a breeder.

I would continue to look for the very best example of a pastel that I could find if my eventual goal was to breed pastels or super pastels.

I searched for quite some time before I purchased Winston.

He's pictured in the first picture in the series of photos, and that picture was taken this month, and he's 3 years old. His daughter is featured in the rest of the photos.

I simply mean - the quality of your breeders is going to be a huge factor in the quality of the animals that you produce.

Well I would like to breed eventually but he was thrown in extra on a trade that I have made so I can't really say I don't want him when I have already accepted the deal for the spider male. But I understand what you mean and the specimen in my avatar is the pastel female I have now. But I just wanted to be sure he was what the person said he was. Thanks!

Fair enough, I thought you were interested in purchase, I wasn't aware that it was a trade offer. Yep, he's a pastel, but one that most would classify as a low to mid-grade pastel. Good luck with the trade!
