    Free the hops

If any of you were not aware, Alabama has some of the dumbest laws about alcohol content in beer. Well not anymore through the tireless effort of the Alabamians for gormet beer. we got a bill passed to now allow beer of all calibers in alabama. we did have a restiction on beer to only contain 6% alc. now its 13% abv. yay good beer is GOOD

We still have '3.2' laws here in MN. You can buy 'strong' beer in any liquor store, but the only beer you can buy in a convenience store or a grocery store can not be stronger then 3.2% alcohol. I don't know anyone who drinks that stuff on purpose, so I don't know why they even bother.

Aw man... I thought this thread was about hops. I just got three high Alpha rhizomes planted this spring, and they're doing pretty good. Next year they should make some good double IPAs.

Congrats on getting the law passed, though.

Yeah it sucks but at least the liquor stores carry everything you want.
