I want it...
The Bay has 2 viper boas, one darker (the one I have pics of) and one of the more orange ones...they are tame as all get out and just b-e-a-utiful! Never hissed, never struck, and only s'd to look around. Awesome little snakes.

If the other is a female and the one in the pics is a male I would LOVE to pick both of them up and attempt a breeding. When they are of size.

Re: I want it...
Honestly, they don't look like juvies. Are they CB or WC?
Love that dark one!

Re: I want it...
I never said they were juvies and I would assume wild caught.

Yeah, you said, "When they are of size," and I was saying they look "of size" already based on the photos.

Re: I want it...
Saw some of these snakes at the reptile expo. I find their viper-like adaptations very interesting.
I'm not afraid of snakes, because I got Balls!

I was kinda thinking that is what you meant...in that case I might have to have them probe and find out the sexes...hmmm...

Re: I want it...
No need! Female viper boas have no spurs, males do. Easy as pie to sex them.
I'll e-mail Jerry and ask about breeding weights though and relay that info back to you if you end up getting them.

Re: I want it...
I had heard the spurs thing before, but I didn't pay attention to them when I was there.

Re: I want it...
Jerry says he goes by inches. Females he says are 24" before breeding. So, two feet. They're dinky little snakes, but that's why I like them.
