I'm just speculating, but if the rules committee in the house allows the next version of 669 to go straight to the house floor, writing 450+ congressmen might not be the most effective means for fighting it. At that point, in person meetings with your Representative in Congress (or their staff at local district offices) will be absolutely critical. I would imagine that PIJAC, USARK, and other organizations would rapidly organize "lobby days" on the hill and try and get as many people as possible to come to Washington and meet directly with their reps. It's a very common and very effective lobbying method that I am sure is being thought about. HSUS has one planned for the end of July ... any guesses as to what's on the agenda?

Keep yourself informed, join as many "associations" as you feel comfortable with, and be ready to do whatever comes up next.
