Can pregos reabsorb their litters?

I had a mouse i was 100% was pregnant maybe due in a week (Only sure because its my second litter) ok so i put her in a separate tank she started to look stressed and eventually just got back small and was walking kinda funny i put he back in the tub (1.3)

So can they reabsorb the litter?
Will she forever be damage?
should i just feed her an get a new female?

They can, but it's unlikely that she reabsorb the whole litter. My guess is she destroyed the litter after birthing.

never layed i am 75% sure of that even if i wasn't here someone was aleways checking in on her to see. And i watched her and she was in like a state where she was breathing heavy and im sure i am was watching her loose weight with plenty of food in her cage. she never made a nest nor did i see one spec of blood?

SHould i hold on to her an try again?

update: So i checked in on her when i woke up then i just checked on her 2 min ago and she passed trying to give birth. she was extremely skinny but i dont understand why this happened.

If mice or rats have issues birthing ( post mature) they can reabsorb the babies. Sorry for your loss

Sorry for your loss. With mice you don't need to move them to a maternity ward like rats, you can leave them all together.

I have never removed a male rat from a tub.
