    question about boa morphs?

    I don't know much about boa morphs but I have a normal female and an empty 4 foot boamaster cage. was thinking about getting a male to put in it.
    here is my question. are there any dom or co-dom morphs I could breed to my female? thanks!

    What are you looking for as far as traits, color, that sort of thing?

    Salmon (hypo) are Co-dom, you will have a chance at salmons and normals from that pairing.

    I thought the same thing when I got into boas but it gets easier the more you look at and study them. There are alot of great websites out there that explain all morphs/dom-codom and just as many good books about it.

    This is a great book, I have read it twice and still go back to it for notes and such. http://www.cuttingedgeherp.com/booksforsale/

    Re: question about boa morphs?

    Co-dominant morphs;

    (salmon)hypo.
    Arabesque.
    Jungle.
    Motley.
    Marron.
    Aztec.
    Jaguar.
    Roswell.

    Maybe some more are out there, i think scoria is also co-dominant. But not for sale yet...

    here a website where you can find out a lil bit more about them;

    http://www.boalist.com/

    And like the previous poster i will also advise the complete boa constrictor from vincent russo, simply the best boa book out there if you ask me....
    Regards,

    Kevin
