At $20.00 you may be able to haggle and get it cheaper...j/k

Do a google search for care sheets I'm sure you'll find many.

Just remember boas can get kinda big, so be prepared to upgrade the cage as your boa grows.

They are pretty easy to maintain, so long as you provide proper humidity and proper heat and a more relaxed feeding regimen. ( Boas shouldnt be over fed)

Definitely one of the more enjoyable species of snake to work with!

For 20.00 thats a great price, just be sure you arent getting a sick snake dumped on to you either, as vet bills are pretty costly!

if she's afraid of snakes, then a RTB is probably not the direction you want to take at this point.

It never hurts to let her know you've been doing research and present her with facts. One fact is a RTB is probably not a good beginner snake because of their size.

If you can convince her to start with corns or maybe even ball pythons, then prove your abilities to care for it and it will give her time to see that snakes aren't the demons that people portray them as.

Probably a good idea to wait until you leave her house to start getting bigger snakes like boa constrictors then
